Move a Document/s Between Trays
The In Tray, Out Tray and Sent Items help you
organise your documents. The In Tray allows
you to get your documents from the ATO and enter information
into them. The Out Tray allows you to store
one or more documents to send to the ATO. Sent Items
allows you to view a copy of each document you have sent.
If you want to send a document to the
ATO from the In Tray, first move it to the
Out Tray. You can view your documents in
the Out Tray before you send them but you
cannot make any changes. If you wish to change information
in a document, move the document back to the In Tray.
When you send a document to the ATO,
a copy of each document will be automatically moved to your
Sent Items.
The following tasks are described below:
- Move a document/s
to the Out Tray from the In Tray
- Move a document/s
to the In Tray from the Out Tray.
To move a document/s
to the Out Tray from the In Tray,
perform the following steps:
- In the In Tray,
select the document/s you want to move to the Out
Tray. The document/s must have a status of Completed
before it can be moved to the Out Tray.

- Click on the Move to Out Tray
button. Each document you move to the Out Tray
is displayed with a status of Ready to Send.
